Friendly Page
Please note the following guidelines as you
prepare your summary:
- There are no particular requirements on the format of
the two-page summary.
- The email address of the corresponding author must appear
on the summary.
- Avoid using colors that will not be legible in black-and-white
printed output (e.g. a curve plotted in yellow in a graph).
- Please print your pdf file on a black-and-white printer
and check the following:
- Legibility of plots and block diagrams (especially
small text, plot legends, etc.)
- Placement of figures and text boxes (these are prone
to move around when converting MS Word to pdf).
In order to complete your submission to RAWCON 2004, you
will be asked to provide the following information to an on-line
form (submission form link below):
- The Title of your submission
- A Short Abstract describing your submission
- The preferred format of your presentation (oral or open
forum)
- Topical category (select from a pull-down menu)
- Format of file to be uploaded (*.pdf, *.doc, or *.ps)
- Name, Address, Affiliation, Email, and Phone/Fax number
for the corresponding author and co-authors
Note that as you navigate the submission instructions, you
will be informed that a "Copyright
Release" form must be submitted with the final digest manuscript
for all papers accepted for presentation.
Additional note: It is the responsibility of authors who
either: 1) are U.S. nationals (including green card holders);
2) work for a U.S.-based organization, regardless of where
they are physically located; or, 3) work at a U.S. location
of a non-U.S.-based organization, to ensure that papers submitted
for publication do not violate the U.S. International Traffic
In Arms Regulation (ITAR). ITAR oversees articles and services
covered by the U.S. Munitions List. Information in the public
domain is outside the purview of ITAR. (Note: Company information
that is proprietary is not considered to be in the public
domain.) Authors submitting papers based on defense-related
contracts should be sure to adhere to any and all information-release
clauses in those contracts. IEEE assumes that meeting
government contract obligations satisfies the requirements
of ITAR compliance.
Detailed information on ITAR (including the U.S. Munitions
List) can be found online.
Additional information is also available .
Further assistance is available from IEEE.
Authors of accepted publications will be asked to signify
that they are aware of the ITAR regulations.
You may wish to have a look at those forms before proceeding.
When ready, please proceed to the submission
form. You will be given a unique registration number.
When the submission is complete an email acknowledgment will
be sent to you. |
