February 27th, 2003:

The location for RAWCON 2003 will again be in Boston, MA. The meeting will be hosted by the Hilton Boston Logan Airport, a new hotel on the airport property which is located within walking distance of all Logan Terminals, and yet only minutes away by taxi, MBTA, complimentary hotel shuttle, or water taxi from downtown Boston. A conference rate of $139 per night has been negotiated with the hotel for attendees of the meeting.

The conference continues to focus on the relationships between wireless system performance requirements and RF component design issues. The meeting will feature single- and dual-track technical and poster sessions, workshops, panel sessions and an industry exhibition.

New this year:

  • Additional technical sessions and workshops have been added this year to increase the content of the meeting.
  • Session keynote speakers will review trends and recent developments in each session.
  • The December 2003 issue of the Microwave Theory and Techniques Society's award-winning IEEE Microwave Magazine will feature selected articles from the conference.
  • Exhibitors and sponsors offering products and services to the wireless community are being actively solicited to add another dimension to the conference.

The 2003 IEEE Radio and Wireless Conference is sponsored by the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S) and the IEEE Boston Section.
